Notre Dame came into Army on October 18, 1924 as a heavy underdog. With the help of the “Four Horsemen” (Harry Stuhldreher, Don Miller, Elmer Layden and Jim Crowley) who were immortalized by legendary sports writer Grantland Rice, Notre Dame delivered a 13-7 victory. Offered is a rare program from that game. This program measures 9 1/4" x 11” inches. This 20-page program has tape on the inside cover and on page 1. There also is tape between pages six and seven. Pages nine through 12 are intact but loose. The original owner folded the program lengthwise. There also is light staining throughout the program.
