Offered here is a really nice group of the popular 1966 Topps Baseball issue, an array of more than 550 cards that features nearly three dozen Hall of Famers and a boatload of stars and specials, with some considerable duplication involved, even in the case of HOFers and stars. These are truly nice cards – literally dozens apparently uncirculated and some striking runs of high-grade commons - from a key vintage issue, boasting bright colors, good photo registration and gloss and bright, clean card backs. The partial set might be broadly divided into two groups: roughly half of the array is a solid Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with a similar number more properly described as Very Good to Excellent, with the emphasis to the upper end of the scale. The Hall of Famers and stars conform to the very broad condition range and are listed individually below; there are 20 Team cards, 10 League Leaders and 10 Checklists (five are marked). The breakdown: No. 126 Palmer – Good (mk); 130 Torre (3) – two Ex-Mt and one Very Good; 132 Cepeda (2), Ex-Mt and Ex; 195 Morgan – Ex; 200 Mathews (2) – Ex-Mt and Ex; 210 Mazeroski (2) – both Excellent; 254 Jenkins Rookie – Ex o/c; 255 Stargell (3) – Excellent, Very Good and Good; 288 Sutton Rookie (3) – two are Ex-Mt, one Ex (all are o/c); 290 Santo (5) – Excellent, Excellent o/c, Very Good to Excellent, Very Good and Good; 320 Gibson (4) – three are Ex-Mt, one Ex; 420 Marichal – Ex 430 Drysdale – Ex and 435 Bunning (3) – Ex-Mt o/c, Very Good and Good.
