This freakishly rare unopened vending box contains 500 untouched and unsearched cards from the 4th Series of 1968 Topps Baseball (Nos. 284-370). We've searched other auction sites and the web pretty carefully and haven't found any evidence that this vending box has ever been offered for sale so consider this one a unicorn. This includes Willie McCovey, Luis Aparicio, Roger Maris, Leo Durocher, Red Schoendienst, Hoyt Wilhelm, Ernie Banks, along with All-Star cards of Harmon Killebrew, Orlando Cepeda, Rod Carew, Joe Morgan, Brooks Robinson, Ron Santo, Carl Yastrzemski and Hank Aaron. Most of these singles have very low population reports for Mint and Gem Mint singles, and this box provides the best chance to find one. The box has been authenticated and shrink-wrapped by Steve Hart of Baseball Card Exchange, who noted that this box originated from Larry Fritsch Cards.
