Presented is a simply spectacular example of the 1961 Fleer Football issue, a stunning mostly Near-Mint or better blazer, a pristine accumulation with the entire issue essentially Near-Mint or better (96 percent) and almost ½ of the checklist reaching Near-Mint to Mint status. Headlined by 87 cards duly entombed in glistening PSA 8 slabs and six other slabs even above that, including four PSA 9s, this was the company’s first effort to include players from the veteran National Football League after producing an American Football League set the previous year, its first printing of mainstream cards of professional football.
