This 6x8.5" photo features American theatrical producer, impresario, director, and playwright, David Belasco and is signed in black steel tip pen. The inscription reads, "For You, from David Belasco, November 16, (19) 27" and the signature is authenticated by JSA with a full LOA. He was the first writer to adapt the short story Madame Butterfly for the stage. He launched the theatrical career of many actors, including James O'Neill, Mary Pickford, Lenore Ulric, and Barbara Stanwyck.
