Presented is an enormous group of roughly 800 cards from the popular 1959 Topps Baseball issue, an array that includes more than a dozen Hall of Famers and is missing only 84 cards from being complete. This is a largely a collector-grade grouping, broadly Good to Very Good with some Excellent for the earlier Series, then some modest improvement to mostly Very Good to Excellent for Series Five, Six and Seven, with some below to mostly Good. Most of the key Hall of Famers and many important stars are among the missing numbers, and while there are only 13 cards missing from the difficult Seventh Series, most of those fall within the All-Star subset. For a collector who might have many of the key HOFers and stars already in the house, the lot provides a great opportunity to pick up the lion’s share of the rest of the gang.
