Presented is an extraordinary grouping of vintage toys from the 1950s and 1960s, an array that is headlined by plush dolls of Minnie and Mickey Mouse, a swell Mickey Mouse Club Lunchbox and complementing version from Mickey’s good buddy, Roy Rogers, and a dozen of the popular Tray Puzzles featuring legendary television heroes from the period, including several from Whitman Publishing. We’ll start with the 16-inch plush dolls featuring the famous couple, both in nice collectible condition and boasting Official Walt Disney tagging. Mickey is missing one of the felt buttons on his pants; Minnie is in just a whisper better condition, with no issues. The 8 ½-by-6 ½-inch (3 ¾ inches deep) lunchboxes are broadly in Fair condition, with some scuffing and scratching in the case of the Mickey Mouse Club example, along with some dirt, wear, light pitting and a few dents. The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Lunchbox also includes the Official Double Bar Ranch Thermos, 8 ½ inches, seemingly in Ex-Mt condition but jostled by a crack in the cup. Here’s the breakdown of the Tray Puzzles (12): Most are 11 ½-by-14 inches and from 1957 or so, with some outliers noted – 1) 1953 Barney Bear – Fair; 2) Zorro – Near-Mint, in the original cellophane packaging; 3) Zorro – Very Good; 4) Lone Ranger – Fair; 5) Gene Autry – Fair; 6) Wyatt Earp – Good; 7) Wild Bill Hickock – Good; 8) The Cisco Kid – Good-Plus; 9) Roy Rogers – Fair; 10) Smokey the Bear – Fair; 11) 1968 Moby Dick – Ex-Mt; and 12) 1970s Hot Wheels – Near-Mint.
